The organs of the Fund
The Fund is established with the National Council and its administration was transferred to the "National Fund of the Republic of Austria for Victims of National Socialism".
The highest body of the National Fund, the Board of Trustees, now also presides over the "Fund for the Restoration of the Jewish Cemeteries in Austria". The Board of Trustees decides on the applications for financial assistance on the basis of guidelines.
An Advisory Board chaired
by the President of the Federal Office for the Protection of Monuments,
Dr. Barbara Neubauer, in which the Jewish Community Vienna, the
Republic of Austria and the provinces, cities and municipalities are
represented, pronounces recommendations for the decisions of the Board
of Trustees.
